Here are some encouraging words from the TRUTH of GOD'S
WORD! Well spoken by one of my brothers in Christ, Lorenzo Dargan:
Hebrews 10:14 states that by Christ sacrificing his life, he
has Perfected (Made whole, complete) us forever. When we are born again and
accept what Christ has done for us we are made Perfect. The problem we face is
walking out our Perfection in Christ. When looking at the Scriptures all the
examples that explain how to live a sinfree life all point back to the same
thing....LOVE.
Galatians 5:16 states that if you walk in the Spirit
you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. If you continue in that chapter it
states that Love is a product of you walking in the Spirit. So if you walk in
Love you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Also 2 Peter 1:5-10 states that you should add to your faith
virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance
patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and
to brotherly kindness charity, and if you do these things you will never
FALL/FAIL. The one that tops the list is LOVE!!!!
Colossians 3:14 states that above all these things put on
LOVE, which is the bond of perfectness. So basically if you want to walk out
your Righteousness/Perfection, you should practice walking in LOVE! I can't be
a sinner and Perfect, or I can't be a sinner and a new creature. I am PERFECT
(Whole, Complete), and I will continue to learn to walk out my Perfection,
which means I will walk in LOVE!
